![]() My infantry was early rubbed out and i lost a lot from my chariots. The first and second battle i won by the invasion point with my 3 chariot and 1 infantry. I love missions that allow such variability!įinally i won the Battle But i am still interested in a good Strategy to deal with this strong Hyskos. Oh, and I finished the game a few months - maybe one year - after the battle, before any request came (the only one was before the battle, for some 600 luxury goods). I had to replay the battle 5 times to find the right tactics (first 4 attempts ended with a Defeat screen). ![]() ![]() Didn't wait for the enemy at invasion point, encountered him when his units were more than halfway to the city walls. Didn't kill any lions except those that walked onto my soldiers. Didn't build any police stations near invasion point, only in the city and around the farms. Upgraded all present housing (gardens, juggler) to Ordinary cottage soon. I had all forts in North started with jewelry massively and later pomegranates, and didn't build more than 10 huts (for worker access) before the battle. Today I found Wooly's thread about it and realized that we have taken completely different course. I'm speaking about Hard difficulty, at Normal it is just a short skirmish (2 chariot forts are enough to win w/o big losses). I played the battle of Qadesh yesterday, and enjoyed it very much.
